Return Of Rumble Bee: A 2nd Chance

Sometimes we all do things we regret. Like not seizing an opportunity, not asking a certain question, or saying or doing something we end up wishing we never did in the first place. Screwed up. Again.

The thing i regret doing the most, was taking my 1st car for granted. My 1985 manufactured, 1986 registered Toyota Cressida GLi-6. Turns out it was and is still, my dream car. I wouldn't trade it for a classic all american big-block Chevy Camaro Z/28 or even the latest addition to Lamborghini's Sant Agata lineup.

Predictably, the car got sold and it's been six years of regret since then. Today, i got a second chance, i finally tracked down the car and it appeared on a website for sale last weekend. (see screen cap of the ad below) I made some calls and  drove 220km this weekend, paid the cash (100 bucks less than what the car was sold for 6 years back)and brought it back.

To be honest, the car is nowhere near the pristine condition it was sold in. Lots of broken interior parts, gearbox is almost broken, broken air conditioner, broken speedometer, broken center console and exterior trim is missing plus a few fender benders to boot.
