It's been a year since the last post. Could do nothing to the Cressida due to a lack of funds and the right engine.
As luck would have it, i came across an ad for a Cressida with an RB25 DET Skyline engine for sale and
after speaking to the owner, who just so happened to be the owner of a monster garage specializing in engine swaps and performance mods, he agreed to hook me up with an RB20 DET Skyline engine from an R32 within my budget.
So i got the car towed yesterday, and the rebuild will begin next week. Estimated completion date end JAN 2012, with the car pushing out around 220 HP with stock cooler and turbo, at about 0.6 bar of boost.
So the car finally reached the workshop after being towed from TOP FORM in Sg. Long to Alam Damai and is now in the back lane of one of the best workshops in Cheras, which not many people will be able to find, waiting it's turn to be transformed into a fire breathing monster! Watch out Type-R's!!
